The trip to Peru was one of the most amazing and influential experiences of my life. I cannot say enough about Claudia and the group with which I traveled.
Feeling the energy of Machu Piccu was amazing.The energy and feeling of standing on the alter and touching the sun dial is difficult to describe well enough to do it justice. Unbelievable. It’s a moment I sometimes try to go back to when I need to be lifted.
I find that I still am realizing the impact that this trip had on me and continues to have on me. I would say this was the trip of a lifetime for me but I know I’ll be back.

It was better than I had ever anticipated. Being at these places and seeing the land with your own eyes and being with the Peruvian people cannot compare to that of what you see in a documentary or what you hear from those who have already travelled there..
My journey to South America: Peru; Iquitos, Lima, Cusco and Pisac is one I will cherish for my lifetime. I was able to push my own limits and explore things that I wasn’t even expecting to learn or discover.
My biggest healing of all and that was the releasing of my heart….

We took a beautiful ride through the mountains on the Peruvian Railway arriving in Aguas Calientes, located in the valley of Machu Picchu. When we arrived a grand festival was taking place celebrating the anniversary of Machu Picchu being named the seventh Wonder of the World. The town held a parade with small children of all ages dressed up marching in their school uniforms singing praises to Machu Picchu.
A bird watch boat ride revealed thousands of birds mainly egrets & herons who clustered on the banks of the river and sat in the tops of trees. We took several walks through the jungle viewing the plants and wildlife that lived there observing many tropical plants, bird and monkeys. We observed pink dolphins swimming in the river.
In Lima we visited the Love Park along the ocean, dined and concluded our amazing trip by viewing the colorful lights of Lima in the evening.

I went to Peru with Claudia in 2016 and it was an incredible experience. Claudia took care of everything and everyone so that we didn’t have to worry about logistics or details, which enabled us to fully experience our journey. I felt safe knowing going into an unknown experience with her by my side, holding sacred space. I know I couldn’t have had the rich beautiful experience I had if I had gone on my own. Claudia is an experienced, loving guide and anyone considering this adventure would benefit from it!!
